Auditions for Wizard Of Oz

Audition for our all ages musical, “Wizard of Oz”!  

Where: Pend Oreille Playhouse Auditorium 

When: 1/26 (Sun) 6:00pm, or 1/27 (Mon) 6:00pm  

Callbacks, if needed, will be 1/28 (Tues) 5:00pm.  

**Doors will open at 5pm to fill out forms & get photos, Auditions start   promptly at 6pm** 

**All kids under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian  and  will be able to leave after info is given out to the group at 6pm.** 

Auditioners only need to attend one open audition day & may need to be available for the callback day if they are auditioning for any named character (if needed by director).  

Preparation: Please prepare a song, approx 1 minute long (we would prefer a backup track or karaoke accompaniment, but it's not required) & come dressed to be able to move comfortably to music.  (please bring shoes to change in to if you are wearing snow boots) 

We will be having each person sing their prepared song first, then do some easy dance moves next, then we may have you read parts from the script.  Vocal auditions will be in a group setting.  Please contact us if you’d like to sing privately & we will set up a time. 

If cast, rehearsals will be Mon, Tues, & Thurs from 6:00-8:30pm (rehearsal will run later 2 weeks before the show opens)
The performance dates are: May 2 (7pm),3 (7pm),4 (3pm). 9 (7pm),10 (7pm),11 (3pm) You must be present at all performances & all tech & dress rehearsals (required rehearsals: 4/21-24 & 4/28-5/1).
